Sweet and simple

Just follow the simple instructions included with your bag on returning your item. You will even receive a reminder the day before in case you are too preoccupied showing off your new love!

Is there a minimum rental period?

The minimal rental period is for 4 days, and you are required to post the borrow back to us the following day after your hire period (day 5). If you do have a need to customise your date, please contact us at info@pursestrings.co.nz with your requirements.

How long can you keep the bag for?

The most common hire is for 4 days, however you do have the option to hire for either 4 days, 1 week or 2 weeks and the price differs per bag. Under each listing you will see the prices associated with each option. If you need an option that is different from the above, just touch base with us and we will see if your request is possible.

How many bags can I rent at one time?

Just one at a time, but you can come back and hire more! We love repeat hires.

Are your bags the real deal?

They are as real as they come! We are passionate about designer handbags, it is our obsession so we can guarantee that all our products are 100% authentic.

Is it easy to return?

Of course! We will send a return bag out with your borrow so you just have to pop it in and ping it bag to us at the end of your rental. Just remember to get it away the following day after your rental period before your postage cut off time. We will send you a friendly text reminder to make sure you don’t accidently forget!

Should I clean the bag?

Please do not clean the bag if you mark it…Or just to be nice! A lot of our items require special treatment or there is often no saving them. They can be a little high maintenance, and if you don’t know what you are doing you may damage them more. If you have any queries on this, please do just get in touch with the team by emailing info@pursestrings.co.nz

What happens if I lose or damage the bag?

We offer additional damage insurance for a fee of $15 per rental to make sure you can enjoy your arm candy with a little less extra stress. You will find further detail on this in our terms and conditions (insurance covers damage up to $300). This insurance does not cover loss, but the team would be happy to answer any further questions not answered in our T&C’s.

Do I have to pay a damage deposit when hiring a bag?

No, but we do expect all bags to be returned in the same condition they are hired in. We understand sometimes accidents happen, but if you return the bag without making us aware of an incident, we will be in touch to process a damage charge. The team will always make contact to let you know.

Do you charge a late fee if I can’t get it back to you on time?

Yes there is, we want you to enjoy your hire for 4 full days, however you must post it back the following day to avoid someone else missing out on their booking. Please see our T’s & C’s for more info.

Should I get in touch if you don’t have what I am looking for?

Absolutely! We are always adding to our collection and may have what you want waiting to go. Equally, we would love to hear what we can add to or wish list to keep you looking your best.
